**Kids Corner Supervised Play Session Policies** **Purpose** The Kids Corner Supervised Play Session aims to provide a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children aged 6 months to 6 years while allowing parents to work or relax within our facility. This policy outlines the expectations and guidelines for both parents and staff to ensure a positive experience for all participants. 1. Supervision and Staffing - Each supervised play session will maintain a staff-to-child ratio of 1:5 to ensure adequate supervision and attention to each child's needs. - Staff members are trained in child supervision, safety protocols, and age-appropriate play activities. 2. Registration and Check-In - Parents must register their children for the supervised play session in advance to ensure proper staffing and capacity. - Upon arrival, parents must check in their children at the designated area, providing any necessary information regarding allergies, medical conditions, or special needs. 3. Parent Participation - Parents are required to remain on the premises during the supervised play session. - Parents are encouraged to stay within designated areas to ensure they can easily monitor their children while allowing staff to manage playtime. - Parents will be responsible for handling potty breaks or diaper changes for their children. 4. Child Safety and Health - Children must be free from illness or contagious conditions to participate. Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they exhibit symptoms of illness. - Parents must ensure that their child is wearing appropriate clothing for play, including grip socks and comfortable attire. - All personal items, including toys and snacks, must be approved by staff prior to the session to prevent potential hazards or conflicts. 5. Behavior Expectations - Inappropriate behavior, including aggression, bullying, or disruptive actions, will be addressed immediately by staff. Continuous misbehavior may result in a child being temporarily removed from the play area, with parental notification. 8. Cancellation and Refund Policy - Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within this timeframe will not be eligible for a refund. - In the event of a facility closure due to unforeseen circumstances, parents will be notified as soon as possible, and sessions will be rescheduled or refunded.
